This is about an extremely obscure Puyo character. You were probably actually looking for Sho Minamimoto, hectopascals.

Sho is one of the three main characters from the really obscure strategy game Puyo Puyo Gaiden! Puyo Wars. In this game, he seems to be a friend of Daichi and Marin, and fights them using Tectars that use Puyo as their energy source. The Tectar that represents him in the game's opening and promotional media resembles a giant duck, bringing into question his tactics.

Appearance in Subete PuyoPuyo

More notable than his game appearance is his appearance in Subete PuyoPuyo, taking on a vastly larger role than he ever could have in his only official appearance. Sho, unlike some of the other protagonists, exhibits great emotional (over)reaction to situations, such as dancing around like a moron in joy when he was released from his cage, or trembling in fear at the sight of Eltia walking and talking. He also demonstrates reasoning and intellect; he is capable of rebuilding Ekoro's clones and has a vast knowledge about robotics in general thanks to his background in it. He lived in the Madou World prior to being taken to Primp, where he vaguely recalled running into Witch and Arle Nadja. In later episodes, Sho was shown to have a tendency to babble continuously for several lines without rest, a trait thought by Draco to be obtained by being Ekoro's little bitch. However, Sho dismissed that, claiming he was already like that prior to this alleged kidnapping.

Prior to and during the events of the Ekoro arc, Sho was kidnapped from the Madou World by Ekoro and threatened into building the laboratory of his Mountain Base and several of the clones therein. Most notably, Sho worked in tangent with Ekoro to create Phi, a clone of Lagnus the Brave destined to be Project Perfect Light. Despite his hard work, and Phi's successful development as a clone with free will AI, Ekoro destroyed him and responded by locking Sho in a cage in Fos Canyon and working on Zeta by himself. It can be presumed that Ekoro may have locked Sho away because he feared his involvement made them susceptible to neutralization or having more friendly and moral personalities.

Sho wasn't discovered until episode 22, where his cage in Fos Canyon was discovered conveniently next to the last remaining evidence of Phi's existence. Sho was released by Ringo's party, and he shared with them intimate knowledge of Ekoro's plans, except those pertaining to Zeta, which he was not allowed to work on. He followed the party to the Temple of the Wastelands to deliver Strange Klug the AVI disc Phi had recorded, and then back to Puyopolis, where he settled into the remaining underground chambers of the ADMA Headquarters and began rebuilding Phi. He was still building Phi by the episode's end. Zeta implied that she would help him rebuild Beta and Theta as well.

At the end of episode 23, after only nearly a day, Sho excitedly reveals he has rebuilt Phi in his entirety, using light from Harpy as the final touch.

In episode 24 Phi was finally awakened, bring Sho tears of pride and joy. He joined the others for some nostalgia and fresh air in the Random Field, even being able to (mostly) ignore the fuss about Harpy's Scar turning out to be a parasite. Sho is then exposed to Satan's nearly naked body when Arle rips the Carbuncle suit right off of him. Sho then informs Satan that it's against the rules to love your job, but he is dismissed, for having green hair automatically voids the rules and makes you an exception. Sho then goes back to the underground in order to develop a means of protecting himself, so he can actually participate in missions should that be necessary.

Phi commented that he misses his friends, though the whereabouts of Daichi and Marin in Subete are currently unknown and unexplored.
