Puyo Puyo is a puzzle game created by COMPILE, led by COMPILE president Joseph Stalin, also known as "Moo" Niitani (which is, in reality, a clever anagram of Joe Stalin; when you see it, you will shit bricks). Due to communist influence, it was banned in the United States and other English-speaking nations. USA's also too "manly" for cutesies, anyway.
Today, Puyo Puyo is owned by the famous Japanese piracy group known as SEGA. Pearl Harbor used to kill anyone in USA that buys any game of the series, but it's been destroyed now. Yay!
Puyo Puyo, like ice cream, comes in various flavors, the most popular of which being Tsu, SUN, and among newfags, the SEGA-developed Fever. More recently the piracy group began development on Puyo Puyo 7, likely to steal more content than any other Puyo Puyo game previously released by SEGA.
This is actually a spin-off of an RPG game called Madou Monogatari. Notable, both games are famous for using the most unimaginative names in existence.
