Satan, also known as Santa, Masukudo Satan, Stan and Satin, is a green haired man with horns, and constantly makes erroneous baseless claims of being Arle Nadja's fiance. From his name it wouldn't be hard to think of him as the ruler of Puyo hell, but that has about the same amount of truth in it as his love interest's reciprocation. He is constantly forming plans to have a "honeymoon under the starry sky" with Arle, although these usually fail. Noticeably, he seems to say "Bah!" alot, especially when things are going wrong for him. He also seems to be obsessed with Carbuncle (Makes lots of sense, since Carby used to be Satan's) and Hawaiian shirts.
Satan used to be someone who wants to rule the world before Puyo Puyo was now SEGA's. Don't listen to some of the translations out there. Satan has wanted Arle for her beauty and power ever since the beginning. Among stuff he likes, there's claiming to be "Santa" and pulling the sun closer to the world for a longer Summer so he could get a tan and be loved by the ladies.

Satan hadn't even begun planning his next attempt to win Arle's heart when she showed up at his doorstep and demanded that he stop what he was doing. Satan got away, and it started a wild race to Satan's Tower to stop him from even beginning his plans, which never got past the planning phase. One epic battle and giant rocket later, Satan was thwarted again, but he somehow managed to escape for a second time.
After Ms. Accord had turned psychotic and muted Seriri, Satan had finally succeeded in seducing Arle, but this was only because he'd unmute Seriri in exchange for the date. He went on the date, but it was foiled by Rulue, who spiced his curry with love magic to make Satan love her. After their saucy encounter in a random field, where Rulue completely failed at love-making, Satan returned to loving Arle.
In episode 8 of Subete PuyoPuyo, Satan shows up at Draco's hut right after it is rebuilt by Mikki. He flirted with Arle some more before getting to the point: to announce a Honeymoon estate built for the two of them (after calling Mikki's flock of Puyo a wedding present). He claims it has "10 floors of the loveliest marble, the silkiest fabrics, and only the finest of granite, and DIAMONDS!". However, Arle repeatedly rejects his offer. He then begins to worry about how he will pay the $56,897,009 he owes on the diamonds. Mikki's Puyo then run him off into the horizon.
In episode 10, Klug is trapped inside Satan's Castle by Ekoro after being revived by Harpy. Here the gang comes across a giant, Carbuncle shaped bed, which is addressed to Arle and Carbuncle as a wedding gift, revealing that he once again, was going to try and make a ridiculous proposal to Arle. Surprisingly, Satan himself was not anywhere to be seen inside the castle.
