This page is about the Puyo character, not to be confused with Shibata Katsuie, nicknamed Carbuncle.
Carbuncle is a cute little....er... thingy, I guess. He is the mascot of the Puyo series, and is usually seen hanging out with Arle, often saying "Guh!", the only thing he can say. He is a fan of Arle's Curry, but will in fact, eat most anything like Schezo's sword, and his elongated tongue helps him with that task. He is nick named Carby or Kaa-kun by Arle.
Carbuncle was MIA at the beginning of Subete PuyoPuyo, so this provoked Arle to find him. She found him sleeping in Satan's Tower. Satan ran away, thus starting Arle and Carbuncle's wacky adventure to foil his plans that never begun. Along the way, they picked up Amitie, Sig, Rider, Seriri and Draco, the founding members of the ADMA, which Carbuncle is allegedly involved with.
Later, he accompanied Arle and Satan on their fake honeymoon at a demented Puyo carnival.
He usually does nothing in battle, despite being capable of using a badass laser.
