Puyo Puyo Fever Redux is a modset being made by various members of Puyo Nexus targeting Puyo Puyo Fever PC.

Story

Kakurine's story is based on her making a love potion (so she can pass her witchcraft test). She fails in the RunRun course (because Baby Max steals it), but succeeds by the end of the WakuWaku course. Lon (Popoi's replacement) has the same goal, so their last battle is a fight over the last ingredient.

Draco is first in Kakurine's lineup, and her tail is something Kakurine wants for her potion. In Kakurine's story, she beats Draco and takes it but Draco's story is about running away from Kakurine. Unfortunately Draco doesn't fight Kakurine on her side, but since she also fights Lon last, she gets to at least defeat someone with the same goal.

Carbuncle's replacement is the potion itself - after it's come to life.

Kakurine vs Daias

Kakurine: Okkie dokkie! The last ingredient I need is a couple of feathers...

Daias: Nyo?

Kakurine: Hello stranger. Do you know where I might be able to find some feathers?

Daias: Why do you need feathers, nya?

Kakurine: Oh, just for a potion I'm making in Witchcraft class.

Daias: Hm...what kind of potion is it?

Kakurine: I just need to know where I can-say...do you have...feathers?!

Daias: Nyo...I knew you would notice sooner or later...

Kakurine: Here, let's play a game. If I win, I can have some of your feathers. Okay?

Daias: Okay. May the better player win, nya!

Kakurine vs Baby Max

Kakurine: Yes! I'm finally almost done!

Max: Hi there. Whacha makin'?

Kakurine: Soon my love potion will finally be complete!

Max: A Lovely potion? Hm...

Kakurine: Finally done. I'm thirsty. Hey you!

[Kakurine leaves the screen]

[Kakurine comes back]

Kakurine: Er...who are you?

Sophie: I'm the crazy girl that lusts for pies!

Kakurine: They smell good. What flavor are they?

[think] This demon says there is another Satan? Is there some sort of alternate Hell? No matter, it's probably a threat. I'll take this one out, just as a precaution.
