Andou Ringo was the first character announced to be in Puyo Puyo 7, and is the only character to debut in said game that isn't sloppy. Apparently, she lives in yet another parallel universe, other than both Arle Nadja's and Amitie's. She is the leader of her school's whatever club, and apparently has the power to manipulate her age, affecting the size of her Puyo accordingly. She seems to possess the ability to tackle even the largest tasks with a "get it done" kind of attitude, and is generally optimistic. She's also a Math genius and she stole Sho Minamimoto's quotes, both in the original and the translation.

Appearance in Subete PuyoPuyo

Ringo made her first Subete appearance in episode 8, where she appeared seemingly out of nowhere not long after Ekoro's mysterious speech and Mikki's magical hut-rebuilding. Confused, she joined the ADMA, then going by the moniker of Anti-Accord Association, and told them an interesting tale: Ringo, before ending up on the beach, had come across Accord, who was apparently sobbing her eyes out, pleading for Ringo to kill her (which she did not). Ringo also learned she had magical abilities, including being able to manipulate age, and demonstrated this on the others.

Later, in episode 9, Draco finally had come back. Accord, possibly following Ringo, had also appeared however. Accord though, only wanted to explain herself, and then die. So Draco set her on fire and the ADMA watched her sizzle as she explained that Popoi, supposedly a puppet, was using Accord as a puppet herself. Even Ringo, whom had only met Accord once prior to this moment, shed a tear for the poor magic school teacher. Ringo then took part in the discussion to rename the group, and was sucked into the portal Ekoro made. Now she has set of on a mission to rescue Klug from a mysterious castle, even though she does not know him at all.

In episode 10, she eliminated the threat of Rulue by tying her to a tree. She also helped organize the main game plan to rescue Klug. Later that same episode, she introduced her "friend" Maguro and took on the evil Ekoro at the Floating Island. While she didn't stand out like her more experienced peers, she pitched in enough to avoid being left out entirely. Episodes 11 and 12 put Ringo into the spotlight a little as she contributed her logical reasoning skills to help the gang plan their counterattack to Ekoro and his clones. In this manner, Ringo became a leader like figure by the time of episode 14, being second only to Draco in her efforts. Ringo soon discovered Ekoro had cloned her and amplified her latent power astronomically. Luckily, she was able to neutralize her clone and turn the tables against the evil blob, ultimately defeating him for a long time to come.

In episode 17, Ringo became the primary focus after a Meteor crash landed into the ADMA headquarters and sent everyone flying. She survived the resulting explosion, but found herself stranded in the desert with only Arle. Ringo and Arle came across a Detective investigating the meteor crash, and they discovered a piece of the ADMA helicopter. After hitching a ride back to the city, the two girls found themselves confronting Nohoho at the ADMA ground zero, but Ringo noticed he wasn't himself. Later, his master, ??? appeared and revealed "Nohoho" was actually one of Ekoro's missing clones; Epsilon. Ringo confronted the enigmatic dark mage about the meteor, only to be accused of racism. After arguing, a hex was cast upon Ringo that caused her to become physically attracted to Draco, much to her confusion, and later annoyance.

In episode 18, the two hapless girls found Draco, frantically trying to explain their situation and bring her to ???. Unfortunately, Draco was too distracted by Ringo's apparent inability to let go of her to notice. After dragging Draco into the chance dimension, a dark world implicitly full of dark mages, Ringo confronted ??? yet again, this time, he was flanked by his incompetent Nondescript Minion, who was enjoying watching Ringo suffer. Over the course of this next argument, Ringo's curse would be changed twice to accommodate Arle and Nondescript Minion into the hugging sensation. By this time, Ringo was pissed, but there was nil she could do in the presence of ???'s insistence that the ADMA must be punished for their "misdeeds". In the end, a more Sympathetic Minion made Ringo's curse more tolerable by attracting her to a doll.

Later on, Ringo chased away Strange Klug and found Sig out by Draco's Hut.
