Prince Salde Canarl Shellbrick III, more commonly known as Ocean Prince or merely just Salde, is a fishy character from the Puyo series. He is a prince who turned himself into a fish to more appropriately rule the oceans of Primp and to elude the pursuits of his homosexual butler Otomo. During Puyo Puyo Fever 2, he temporarily is transformed back to his human form by Lemres and Raffine, and in this guise he basically bosses around Sig until the latter retrieves the Star Lantern from the possessed Klug to turn him back into a fish.
Etymology
Salde Canarl contains さかな (Sakana, "fish"), with Shellbrick being an obvious reference to sea shells found by the sea shore. His Japanese name in fish form literally means "Fish Prince".
