The Fifths are Angol Mois's minions in Puyo Wars. They are five Puyo who have been mutated into monsters, one representing each color. They appear as boss characters throughout the game, aiding Angol in his plans for world domination. They are each destroyed at the hands of Daichi, one of which brought it upon himself.
Though there are only five, intelligent fifths as characters, numerous primitive variations appear in Angol's underground base, suggesting Angol was actively creating them to serve him. But really, how could you take something that looks like a bad Bomberman Power Ranger knock off seriously?
The Red Fifth, called Fray by Marin, seems to be the most prominent of them, appearing in at least four of the twenty six chapters and playing a more involved role in the plot than the other four. The purple one is female and is reminiscent of Frieza, even though Frieza is actually male. Derp
