This is a great page.

This article fulfills some positive criteria, but still needs improvements. Make these improvements and it just might qualify for excellency.

Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik is a deranged scientist, with some sort of desire for world conquest. He has lusted for and impregnated several women, including Vanilla the Rabbit, whom he is still after to this day. He is a constant threat to Earth, as well as Another World, Blaze the Cat's home world. There, he usually teams up with Eggman Nega for double trouble. He has a son named Kuri-san, and often sits inside of his base making plans to expand his Eggman Empire by building weapons of mass destruction and harnessing the power of the Chaos Emeralds and other shiney jewels with power levels over 9000. He and Sonic have waged war with each other for years, but Eggman has seldom succeeded. On a rare occasion, Eggman has managed to gather all 7 emeralds, but these emeralds are usually then stolen from him by Jet the Hawk and his assistants, usually leading to a wild goose chase to reclaim them.

Personality

Eggman tries to act sinister, but is usually ridiculed instead. Eggman is usually very persistent, and always seems to be happy in a evil, childish way. With that being said, there's always something for him to laugh sinisterly about. Apparently though, he is somewhat cowardly, although he has displayed this quality much less often. Eggman is sometimes quite a power hungry bastard, but he never actually plots against his evil minions or son. Usually, Eggman fails at being funny, but sometimes he has succeeded in telling a decent joke. Less often, Eggman will pun on his own name. Eggman also has a habit of putting his name and face on everything he makes, obviously signifying himself.

Relationships with other characters

While Eggman despises most of the hero characters, and to an extent, some of his minions, he still has a few interesting relationships with other characters.

Sonic the Hedgehog

Eggman most despises Sonic, and dreads him entirely. Besides when putting on Nanny Laura for an audience, he loathes to wrok with Sonic. While Eggman doesn't really intend to kill Sonic, there have been instances where he would have done so were it not for unforseen circumstances.

Rouge the Bat

Rouge the Bat is Eggman's favorite minion. The two get along well, and they often collaborate in evil schemes or Chao raising together. He's promoted her so many times she's almost directly below Eggman in the twisted hierarchy of the Eggman Empire. Sometimes the two display a slight hatred or disliking of each other, although this is usually resolved rather quickly.

Kuri-san

Eggman cares very deeply for his son. He wants to be a good father to Kuri, and he was seen by Kuri as such until he broke up with Cream the Rabbit. Now Eggman is concerned by his son's sudden change of personality, and hopes restore his normality soon.

Shadow the Hedgehog

Eggman and Shadow are not on good terms. As such they hat each other. This causes Eggman to put Shadow lower in the hierarchy so he can avoid paying him large wages or giving him other benefits. Irregardless, the two seem to be able to work with each other, seeing as how Shadow has not deviated from Eggman's side yet.

Vanilla Rabbit and the Rabbit Household

Eggman is deeply in love with Vanilla, and flirted with her often when she wasn't married to Vector. Now though, all he can do is be very nice to the family, and hope that Vector and Vanilla will one day split up. Kuri however opposes the wedding idea, since it would make him and Cream bother and sister, and thus disabling a relationship between the two.

Cornelia

Eggman and Cornelia pretty much had sex, and besides Sonic RPG 2, that's as far as their relationship ever went.

In other stuff

Eggman is probably the most popular Sonic villain. As such, he has buttloads of merchandise made in his likeness, which is ironic, considering on Earth there is nothing besides his robots bear any resemblance to him.

In Nanny Laura

In Nanny Laura, Eggman plays the part of The Murderer, whom kills the parents of a bunch of children that eventually come under the titular nanny's care. The whole play, Laura is trying to find him and arrest him, and ultimately this succeeds. He even sings his own song, My Little Murderers. He is eventually and ironically murdered himself by Laura and The Mayor.

Eggman Clones

Eggman fashions a large number of clones in his likeness. They act almost exactly like the real Eggman, and are considered to be Eggman's best biomechanical work ever. Usually these are used to fake a stunt or an evil plan as a distraction. When defeated, the either blow up or their heads fall off as they play a retarded, pre-recorded laugh over and over.
