Cosmic element (ConceptTopic, 6)
From Compile Worlds
Cosmic element (which is not related to Space element mind you) is an element that actually classifies multiple types of magic and/or technicians. Thus, Cosmic element as a whole must be divided into two different sub-elements, adding a level of irritation and annoyance to the less abridged system of elements.
Magic which is centered around the manipulation of cosmic phenomena such as meteors, quasars, and somehow black holes, falls under the first classification of Cosmic element. Cosmic mages can summon meteor showers or asteroid belts to punish their enemies, and some delusional psychopaths can rip black holes into space to initiate mass genocide.
Magic which is centered around celestial bodies and their chemical compositions, however, is Star Magic, which is practiced by Star Mages as a form of Cosmic element magic. It is said that Star magic is nearly impossible for a normal mortal to learn, and that the best Star Mages are usually naturally born as such. Rather fitting, given the vast amount of space there is to be discovered.
Magic based around solar system bodies other than stars has yet to be seen, but it may possibly exist, which would add yet another sub-division of the Cosmic element. The manipulation of Space itself is Space magic, which is an entirely different element altogether, as evidenced by Homestuck and Kingdom Hearts.
It is very unlikely that despite there being several Puyo series and Compile Worlds characters that are adept in this element that it will be included in the element system of the game due to the fact that it's complexity probably annoys Keiji.
