The Cloaked Figure Squad, sometimes abbreviated to CFS, is a group of cloaked anthropomorphic group of Sonic characters. Their current purpose is unknown, but once they were a group of ruthless assassins. They have been repeatedly killed by Sonic and his wacky friends. Most of them are revived, some of them have reconciled. Some weren't bad to begin with, and others have actually stayed dead. Their ranks have grown and shrunk, and often they get into quarrels about themselves and their personalities. They also can't seem to agree on a common cloak design, and most don't wear their cloaks anway. There are more details about the members in their individual pages.

Dreadkneedle

Dreadkneedle, a half-mechanical echidna, is currently the leader and founder of the organization. He was the leader of the mass assassinations, but has since recocniled, explaining he only murdered to figure out what their purpose was on Earth, and how they could return to their spirit forms. His body was mutilated in a fire started by Son-X, who was purposely trying to kill Dreadkneedle. The rest of the Cloacked Figure Squad members kept Dreadkneedle alive and used scraps of metal that were lying around to build a new body half. Dreadkneedle is now incapable of walking without a cane, which also serves are the sheath of his sword.

Son-X

An echidna-hedgehog hybrid, he is second in command to Dreadneedle. The two have a rocky relationship though, because of some things that they did to each other. Now though, at least they seem to agree and can work together.

Lily the Fox

Lily, as another top member of the CFS. She was "adopted" by the CFS at a very young age, and likes Son-X and Tails, although she only dates the latter. At one point, Son-X and her had a relationship, but this was broken by Lily's likness towards Tails. Son-x initially did not approve of this couple, but has since reconciled. Lily is an expert in a wide variety of weapons, mainly throwing weapons and knives. She can often be found training in the CFS Dojo that lies beneath the ground.

Emerald the Echinda

Emerald is a green, female Echinda and the wife of Dreadkneedle. She can control electricity, and favors the Kunai as her weapon of choice. He past isn't known by many, and even Dreadkneedle doesn't know her like the back of his hand. She is relativly calm, but can be worked up rather easily.

Sytra

Sytra is a strange echinda-serpent that likes to play riddles and use her poisonous magic to her advantage. Ignoring that first sentence and it's false information, Sytra is an Echinda-Anaconda hybrid that specializes in poisonous substances, namely venom and acid. She wears a snake skin vest to make it look like she has scales. She is quite fast, and a lot smarter than you think. Her split-tongue produces smoltering hot acid, able to burn through just about anything.

Cap'n Jack

Cap'n Jack is a pirate whom can control water, in addition to leading a pirate ship, although no other pirates beside himself seem to be on it.

Rettilps

Rettilps is a strange dismembered Shadow look alike. He can manipulate time with the Sais of time. "Sais of time"? What the hell are you talking about, Chao?

Nerveter the Raccoon

Nerveter is Rettilps' partner and he controls Age. He can also fight with nunchuks and control water, but not as well as Jack.

Anxia

Anxia appears to be a bitchy, plant obsessed version of Amy Rose, with a scythe/sickle as a weapon. She, like Kuri-san, controls Green magic, but her's is of an offensive type.

Former

Assuma

Assuma is a demonic manifestation of the dark energy within Big the Cat. He wields a pair of twin Katanas, and has little mercy. Due to his nature, he is constantly regenerating. He was banned by Dreadkneedle after being killed.

Gem

Gem was a hedgehog-fox hybrid whom utilized a shield in battle. He died at the hands of Dreadkneedle.

Hali

Hali was a strange bat. She was very muscular and tomboyish. Ultimately, her fate was to die at the hands of her peers, for she conspired against them.

Magema

Magema was a cold blooded Bird witch with a firery body. She either left the CFS or was silently killed by another CFS member.

Mexjery

Mexjery was the only human member of the CFS, and combined Crystal powers with Arrows. He was later revealed to be Kuri-San's distant cousin, also inheriting Green magic powers, but not through a demon. He left to find his mother and his past.
