Mexjery (EntityTopic, 9)

Mexjery is an original character created by Chao. He was originally named Jimmy (ジミ Jimmy) and is the son of the Divine Lady Rose. He was one of the last members to join the Cloaked Figure Squad before it "closed", per-say. His current whereabouts are unknown. Some believe he awaits the day his mother's Floating Crystal Palace returns, possibly hoping to travel the universe with her.
Biography
He began his life as Jimmy, a name he would hold until later. He was created through the element of nature, as well as the foreign element of crystal, making his birth partially organic, but not human. His life was relatively normal, despite living a crystal palace that was under constant construction. However, it no longer became safe for him or his cousins to live in the kingdom, due to his aunt Cornelia being corrupted an angry demon. Quickly, in order to save his life, Rose, his mother, sent him into a far off future, erasing his memories to protect him emotionally, and changing his name to Mexjery. Once he was sent through the portal, Jimmy no longer knew himself as "Jimmy", but as "Mexjery", and did not remember what had happened before then. Jimmy wandered aimlessly, searching for a new life in the slums of Station Square, not all too unlike his cousin, Matthew the Boarder. But rather than waiting for ages in an orphanage, he found the CFS building, and applied for a job there. He was accepted by Dreadkneedle, and he began his short career as an assassin. Here, he faced much turmoil as Gem had recently died, but he had also faced much malice, and was especially teased by Magema. All, even he, believed his crystal powers were those of ice, giving Magema even more incentive to torture him.
Eventually, Jimmy began to have strange dreams and visions of his mother, her palace, and his past. This was because Rose's palace would soon arrive, as according to her schedule. Dreadkneedle consulted Mexjery about these visions, and advised him to leave the CFS in order to pursue these visions and find out who he really was. Jimmy did exactly that. When he did, he found Rose, as well as Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends. Rose explained the story to him, and the two almost were happily ever after, until Jankoutsu interrupted the reunion. He and Dreadkneedle quickly fought a vicious battle in front of them, and left. Jimmy, too, soon left. He was never seen again.
Jimmy is a meek-ish person, being able to be easily and verbally bullied around. However, his self pride can cause him to reach an angry boiling point if taunted too long. His generally caring and peaceful nature was probably the result of his mother's care. He will defend his fellow members from other sorts of teasing, despite the fact that he himself was once bullied by them. Furthermore, while it is generally against his nature for him to kill people without mercy or compassion, he does so regardless to remain employed by Dreadkneedle. At times, he may be selfish and act spoiled, probably due to his (semi-forgotten) past as a son of nobility.
In battle, Jimmy will resort to many tactics. He will usually fire his crystal arrows in large amounts from a safe distance He can also summon spears made of crystal to home in on his target and impale them, or to randomly ensnare them by rising up unexpectedly. He may even synthesize a healing item with his power, which he will then use to heal himself in a pinch. Despite being physically weak, he is quite nimble. As a last resort, he may swing his bow around, though this is a weaker tactic employed by him. Generally, all CFS members have to have some level of stealth, due to their nature as assassins, and Jimmy is no exception. Although he was revealed to have inherited Nature magic from his mother, he nevertheless was unaware of it and never used it before his mysterious disappearance.
Etymology
Jimmy is a normal boys name, chosen simply for simplicity and a 'cool' factor. Mexjery, his CFS name, was an anagram of "Jeremy", another boy's name (Specifically, the name of a different, retconned human, whom died and was retconned before Jimmy's creation). In addition, both "Jimmy" and "Mexjery" share three consonants, "J", "M" and "Y".
Trivia
- Jimmy, as Mexjery, was the only human member of the Cloaked Figure Squad.
- Jimmy and Rose do not bear the Kanji of their family (角) on any of their clothing.
- Jimmy is the first male human created to wear long sleeves by Chao; a scrapped design, Nathan, would follow that example.
- Coincidentally, he is also the first human to be depicted wearing long sleeves in the Sonic Legends period.
- Jimmy is also the first human created intentionally with inhuman powers.
