Watty, whose real name is actually Pucchi, is a minor character in Puyo Wars. Being the son of the man who owns Protector Corp., he's a whiny, spoiled brat, and a sore loser who fears his father's temper should he not win the Protector Battle Tournament every year and give the company a good name. That being said, his main purpose in the game ends up being to sell Protector parts to Daichi, after being the punchbag for the tutorial chapters with his weaksauce cookie-cutter protectors. At the end of the game, Daichi fails to show up for their face-off at another Protector Battle Tournament, probably insulting him. He's pretty useless despite the fact that he's somewhat involved, so not even the Japanese resources like MadouCyc and Wikipedia make any mention of him.

Etymology

"Watty", his affectionate nickname on this site, is the result of Chao grossly misreading the first kana in his name, and then relaying this inaccurate information to Keiji when he began constructing Log:Puyo Wars Translation (only two more months till it's done!). It's pretty hard to figure out how Chao got ワッチ from プッチ, but it can't be undone now thanks to it being engraved in Kei's head.
