Triple Hedgehog conspiracy theory (ConceptClass, 8)

From Compile Worlds

The Triple Hedgehog conspiracy theory is one of SEGA's many dastardly conspiracy theories. It states that one day, perhaps by the year 2012, that Sonic the Hedgehog, Shadow the Hedgehog and Silver the Hedgehog will all have at least one game with a starring role bearing their name as the title. The theory has little proof though, and even less basis, unlike the Sonic love conspiracy theory and the infamous Cream conspiracy theory. Some paranoid fans however, still think it may come true, and some deranged Silver-fans desire it's fulfillment. To make the conspiracy even more fragile, it is not known weather Silver's game has to be a platformer or popular.

Things supporting the theory

  • The original statement made by Silver's character designer said he gave Silver the same initials as Sonic and Shadow on purpose for fulfilling this conspiracy.
  • Sonic himself has 2 such games following the guidelines for the theory (more likely though, the 2006 is going to be the one used).
  • Shadow also has a game with his name as the title.

Things against the theory

  • So far, Silver has only been a shoe-in.
  • It will take Silver a few more years to warm up to the public.
  • Silver's starring role would most likely be a puzzle game, which will ultimately fail the conspiracy.
