Charyl (EntityTopic, 15)

From Compile Worlds

Charyl is a character in Compile Worlds. She is one of the Puyo Spirits, representing Fire and the color Red. She was sealed away by Camus in the Dragon Temple, but she was promptly unsealed in the same episode. She now hopes to revive her other sisters (and "brother") trapped in other locales.

Character Concept

Chao had decided before the end of SHAME that the next arc of Compile Worlds that was his would have a prominent focus on the Puyo Spirits. Each of these spirits represents a color and element as dictated by Puyo Wars. Charyl, the one to represent fire, was designed first. Her long red hair that tapers into yellow highlights is supposed to be fire-like, and her predominant red and purple attire also reflects this.

Chao created her with the intention of revealing her as the very first Puyo Spirit, and even did this by revealing her alongside Tech as a silhouette before Compile Worlds 2 began, although it was unknown by the others who she was at the time.

Etymology

Her name is derived from "char".
