Doppelganger Arle is an evil red clone of Arle. At the beginning of Puyo Puyo~n, she possesses Satan and makes him run a demented carnival to steal Carbuncle and use his bad-ass laser for injustice. She dressed herself up as a clown to keep herself clear from suspicion until the time was right.

She is the first villain in the entire Puyo series to break the "OMG Satan is the last boss" rule and has been the only female villain to date. She also shows up in Puyo Puyo 7, with a new outfit and the shorter, less evil name of Dark Arle... oh wait! That's a different character!

There are a few rumors floating about that D. Arle might be appearing in Madou Monogatari Fever or Compile Worlds, but these have neither been confirmed or denied.

Appearance in Compile Worlds

Doppel finally made her debut in CW Episode 24, where she appeared as a surprise plot twist. Apparently she appeared in both a "present" variety and a future variety.

The present Doppel appeared when Arle had problems traveling through the portal to The Abyss. Here, she accompanied the heroes as they traveled to meet Satan, who already had the future Doppel with him. The future Doppel tried to get the past one to accept her fate and marry Satan, though she was stubborn. This somehow lead to a juicy kiss scene, which made the present Doppel slowly fall in love with Satan. The two then ran away with each other to a fancy palace where they lived happily ever after.
