Three is the most common magic number. Because it is so awesome, some guy even said it was THE magic number, as in, the one to rule them all.
Three is a crappy approximation to pi, but some retards go as far as to say that three is actually just four in disguise.
Occurrences
- There are three letters in all good acronyms.
- There are three kana in all good Japanese names.
- Most games with elemental systems have either just three or four elements, or over 9000 of them. It's never anywhere in between.
- There are three rivals in all rivalries. For example, Arle, Rulue and Schezo; Amitie, Raffine and Sig; Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony (Because SEGA gave up rather early); Sonic, Knuckles and Shadow; AIM, MSN and YIM (Gtalk doesn't count cause it sucks).

- The third time you try, you usually succeed at said try.
- There are three starter Pokémon in the main series. Pokémon Yellow doesn't count because it's just a Pikachu'd version of Red and Blue.
