Eggman Nega is Another World's counterpart of Dr. Eggman, although some games claim he is a descendant of Eggman from the future. Just like the Earth's good doctor, Eggman Nega lusts for world domination, though he usually resorts to world destruction in his desperation or as his true motive. He strives for the Sol Emeralds, and personally antagonizes Blaze the Cat and Silver the Hedgehog.
Biography
Depending on how you view Nega, his past is either well defined, or largely unknown. As an interdemensional counterpart, Eggman Nega has no proper back-story as to how he got where he was, and the only indicator of his age (or maybe his evil) is his white hair. However, if he is seen a Eggman's descendant, his back-story is that he was formed by rejection and humiliation for his ancestor's reputations. As such, he became so twisted and evil as to plot to kill his ancestor and end the cycle of suffering, though logically, this would end Nega himself.
As far as his personality is concerned Eggman Nega is a cold, and cruel figure, having almost no regard for the living what-so-ever, not even Dr. Eggman. Despite this, he has an eerie politeness and charisma about him. He is also calculating, to the point where he will lose track of important details while he carries on rambling, as seen in the climax of Sonic Rush. Eggman Nega is completely insane, a psychopath, having no common sense. He will put his very life at stake carelessly in order to achieve his goals, seen in Sonic Rush Adventure, where he nearly obliterated an entire universe, including himself, without a second thought. Despite having the genius to harness such immense powers as described before, he lusts for more, and simply wants to reign as a cruel dictator, causing chaos and terror throughout his new domain. All of this sets him apart from Eggman, who is relatively tame compared to Nega.
Nega also infrequently appears as a villain in Sonic Legends, where in addition to the above, he is also a dark mage, dropping the polite aspect of his personality.
