Southern Island (InstanceTopic, 8)

Southern Island is an island on the eastern hemisphere of Another World, and is the home of Marine the Raccoon. When Sonic the Hedgehog and Tails first encountered it in Sonic Rush Adventure, nothing interesting besides Seagull Beach, a volcano, and Marine's house were on it. Tails later remedied this by building several docks and stations for the various aquatic vehicles he would build and use to the gangs advantage. The Coconut Crew also moved back to the island, making it more lively again.

Later, it turns out the volcano was Deep Core, an area where the power of the stars could be unlocked by using the Jeweled Scepter Blaze the Cat's royal family had kept safe for generations. Dr. Eggman and Eggman Nega, however, had failed in their plan to conquer the world, and their machine, the Egg-Wizard, blew up and left it's remains to burn in the Core's lava.
