X is a new character in the upcoming Puyo Puyo Tetris, and is the only new character who doesn't seem to represent either series. He is an odd looking fellow with a white X in his hair and vibrant, colorful clothing reminiscent of clowns. He seems to be the final boss character.

X may come from the "X" in the logo of the game itself, which features a giant "X".
