Ekoro's Base, formerly known as the Mountain Base, is a large, mechanical palace-like structure that was situated in the mountains of Primp. It was the villain Ekoro's main base of operations, with a smaller, sister base called the UT Base built away from the mountains. Nobody aside from Ekoro has ever seen or used the entire base, and now the base is destroyed, trapped with Ekoro's remains(?) and a black hole inside a small orb. It is now the most dangerous object on the planet, and was safely tucked away within the safe hold of the ADMA Headquarters, with additional safeguarding provided by Nanako, until the ADMA Headquarters was blown to smithereens and Strange Klug robbed the safe hold.

Role in Compiler Worlds

In Compile Worlds, the base played a key role in the plot, giving Ekoro a place to hide, a place to conduct his research and manufacture his clones, and to hide away Dark Draco, his then ultimate creation.

He constructed a small portion of this base an unknown amount of time before his first appearance, kidnapping Sho to help create the remainder of it, and gathered the data he needed to begin manufacturing the inferior clones from his first meeting. With that he returned to his Mountain Base, only to find now he had made an error in Omega's (Dark Draco) design. The clone was still functional, so he left it alive, and put it in incubation, to install better parts latter.

Later on, he fled back here after losing the Floating Island battle to create his new perfect clone, Dark Arle. He also constructed Dark Ringo after attaining the data to create her from the last battle. Afterwords, he left again, to further develop the materials and perfect the parts at the UT Base.

Upon returning from an unexpected encounter with Feli, Ekoro then had little time to refurbish his clones a 3rd time before preparing for his grande finale.

In the final room of the base, Ekoro released Dark Arle from her incubation chamber, and begun the Epic battle of the story arc. The room, save the incubation chamber, suffered little damage. In the end, Ekoro's desperation, along with Dark Ringo's ultimate blow, brought the base crashing down into a black hole. The base and the black hole, along with any remains of Ekoro and his unfinished clones, were sealed away by Dark Witch.

Later, Sho revealed that he had unwillingly lent a hand in creating the base and the clones, and Strange Klug stole the orb containing the base, though he likely had it for reasons more concerning Ekoro than the base itself. As a surprise twist ending to the Meteor Arc, Ringo, Draco, Eltia and Arle were teleported inside the orb, where Ekoro's Base remained amazingly intact, and even had a few rennovations.

Structure

The base itself is palace-like. It's exterior is plated by shades of gold and silver, with bronze and platinum cogs piercing through the spiral roofed towers. The main entrance, while on the exterior, did not lead into the first floor. The base was shown to have extended several stories into the ground, and is where most of the laboratories and factories where placed. The ground level floors are all interlinked by a giant, multifloored foyer. The foyer was punctuated by the large double doors on the top floor leading to Dark Arle's incubation chamber, with a large, wall-sized mural of Ekoro's ultimate goal adorning the opposite wall. The stairs to access each floor however, were constructed within the rooms and hallways of the base, rather than in the main foyer. This was probably done to disorientate his intruders, as Ekoro himself could safely float to wherever he pleased. The main ground level floors however, seemed to be more of monitoring stations and living quarters. In nearly every ground level room, you could overlook the progress on a basement room. This was done so Ekoro would not have to traverse the entire base to quickly check the status of one of his rooms or machines. Dark Arle's Incubation Chamber also served a purpose in Ekoro's grande finale, though what is not certain, since the clones interrupted his plans before they could reach fruition.

Within a hallway on the second floor, thousands of blueprints for the clones are adorned on the wall. This gave evidence that Ekoro was planning to make more than 8 clones before challenging the ADMA. The unmade clones never saw light, however, as both the base and Ekoro met their demise before their construction could begin.
