Amy Rose is a pink female hedgehog appearing in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She likes to call herself Sonic's girlfriend, but it's clear that he has absolutely no sex drive and just wants to run around 24/7.
She wields a Piko Piko hammer and uses it for many different attacks and even her own mobility. She also likes to whack Sonic on the head with it when he does something stupid. This hammer is usually stored in her portable hole, as can be seen in Sonic Advance 1. Most of the time, she's relatively useless, but she has a clear advantage in the Ice Mountain boss.
Fanon pairings are unclear. The obvious is a one-sided AmySonic, but there have also been suggestions of (reciprocated or not) TailsAmy, ShadowAmy, AmyCream and even AmyRider.
