Leaf is the female protagonist of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. She, like pretty much everyone, is a loli. Despite only playing a main role in her own game, Leaf makes various other cameos, and is infact, second to only her own male counterpart Red and characters who exclusively make cameos throughout the years, like Jasmine and Cynthia(Mmmm~hot stuff).

In FireRed and LeafGreen

When you meet the gender-confused old man Professor Oak, you are given a choice between Red and Leaf. Unlike her counterparts, Leaf does NOT make an appearance if you don't choose her (which sucks, but it's probably for the best), so if you wanna see some hot female trainers kicking some ass, then you better choose Leaf! Anyway, once you pick her, she begins her very own Pokémon journey, and immediately she has to deal with the shenanigans of her rival and next-door neighbor, Gary OakBlue. (Although now you can actually get away with thinking he's hot, since you're a girl now :3) After that, you basically foil the evil plans of Team Rocket and their leader, Giovanni, while running around Kanto and collection the 8 Gym Badges. Then, Leaf enters the Pokémon League, and defeats Blue to become the champion...

And then Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, and SoulSilver erase this from canon. In fact, it's almost like she never existed... Needless to say, fans were dissapointed when she didn't appear in HGSS as even a minor NPC, much less being there to substitute Red when Lyra makes her way up Mt. Silver.

In Colosseum and XD

Leaf appears in these games if you use a save file from the afore mentioned FireRed or LeafGreen cart to battle on the GCN games. Then she can do useless grinding for hours of fun! Oh, and she can met a totally ripped Pokémon snatcher and some weirdo kid while she's at it, too.
