Game Boy Color (InstanceTopic, 14)

From Compile Worlds

Game Boy Color (Sometimes written as Gameboy Color or GBC) is the FABULOUS upgrade of the original Game Boy. It now displays over 9000(actually 56) colors on your screen, including red, blue, pink, yellow, orange and most importantly green. The system itself was also manufactured in a rainbow of colors, including Grape, Dandelion and even Atomic Purple! If you live in Japan like all the cool kids do though, you could get a transparent one and see that Z80 8-bit processor in all it's microscopic glory. Notable games for the system include Puyo Wars, Pokemon 2 and the Legend of Zelda: Oracle of - games, both which come in pairs, funnily enough. It's also backwards compatible, which is more than what some consoles can say.

Of course this page wasn't written to be a Red linkfarm. Nope.
