TL;DR: Kumizone is a bad joke shop, not a wiki.

Kumizone is the website which you are reading right now. For a period of time it was known as Kawachan, because it was being hosted on kawachan.org and formed the only part of the Kawachan website. Kawachan was named after Kawase, and was initially created as a Kusaba chan board, whereas Kumizone was named after another of Kawase's nicknames, with the "zone" being a long-since-forgotten pun on the Sonic series. On its third anniversary, February 18, 2011, it was will be officially renamed back to Kumizone and be hosted at kumizone.org for the first time. This is so that Kawachan can refer specifically to the software that Kumizone runs on, as opposed to the website.

Beginnings

Kumizone came about on February 18, 2008. It was originally intended to be a parody of ED, though over time it devolved into a place to write about whatever rubbish some bored people pull out of thin air on a sleepless night. Though it was born from a hilarious MSN multiconvo between Kawase, Keiji, Sara and James, the latter two didn't stick around due to being way too busy, and Kawase eventually shied away later. Recently, the more active users are User:KasaneTeto, User:Chao, User:Neko Kohaku and of course User:Keiji.

Even while Kumizone was called Kawachan, the term Kumizonian remained - because "Kawachanian" would just sound silly. Now, with the imminent split/move, it finally makes sense again.

One word story

The one word story is a free, online, instant-access non-game created by Team Ikaria. It is the sauce of much win on this site. On April 4, 2009, the one word story from was transferred from Team Ikaria to Kawachan as it fits better here, and as all Dumbledore content needs to eventually be moved to Gollum.

Unfortunately, due to not actually being used by sensible people (And only one person known to use it), it's now full of crap. It might be rebooted one day, but it's not a priority.
