The Ekokoro Virus is a lethal viral infection introduced in Compile Worlds. It was engineered by Ecolo, who infected Lagnus the Brave with it. He claims the virus will eventually drain the energy of his heart, thus killing him in an excruciatingly painful manner. How much time this will take, though, is uncertain, and whether it will be slow or fast is also unclear. It was soon silently retconned after it's significance became next to nothing.

Etymology

The name of the virus is a pun on Ekoro and kokoro, the Japanese word for heart.
