Touhou Mother (Or Touhou Seiboroku, which means Star Mother Record) is an RPG Maker 2000 fangame by S-chan which is a crossover between the Touhou and Mother/Earthbound series.
Just like any Touhou doujin work, it's filled with references and memes. Even to an obscure fan character from a fangame that never saw the light of day.
Notable references (outside of Touhou and Mother) include Metroid, Pokémon, Castlevania, Cave Story, Yu-Gi-Oh, Metroid, Metabots and 2ch. There may be more...

Welcome back to Let's Play Touhou Mother.
My plan at the moment
is first to beat up Porky
then to beat up the Starmen
then to beat up Kaguya
then to beat up Kanako
then to beat up Cirno
and then everything is right with the world!
To the matter at hand though:
Suwako has sent us out on a mission
to go in the first door,
the one area not locked.
Characters
Reimu's Party
- Reimu Hakurei, the resident medic protagonist with pretty offense stats. Has PK Dream and uses bombs, not psychic powers.
- Marisa Kirisame, the resident Glass Cannon, with awesome magic and speed, but pitiful physical ability.

Sanae
- Sanae Kochiya, the "Player 2" shrine maiden, has a couple of arcs in this game, which are all a big parody of Metroid. Pretty weak, though Suwako gradually upgrades her equipment, and she's eventually able to fight Kanako, though ends in a draw...
