Jan is a mischievous wind demon from the Madou Monogatari games. She appears infrequently as an enemy character for Arle Nadja to battle, particularly in Madou Monogatari (Sega Saturn). She speaks in third person, referring to herself as "-sama" despite being a child. She is impulsive and prone to pulling pranks, especially when things aren't going her way. In the aforementioned game, she causes trouble for Arle and Witch by silencing the man who was supposed to teach them the unsealing magic out of jealousy, and then attacking them under the influence of Yoggus' smog. Despite all this however, she claims she is a good child and often foils herself comically. Her powers seem to be calling on storms and enlarging the size of her hands to slap people silly.

She also appeared in Super Nazo Puyo: Rulue's Roux as a rival for Arle's story branch.
