Shitsurakuen is a manga about a mysogynistic academy. Except not, if you read far enough into it. In any case, they set up Exaclan, a virtual battle system kind of like BakaTest, where the male students battle using the female students as weapons, by pulling the weapons out of their chests (however that works). Its focus is on the one girl who managed to get the privilege to play in the otherwise male-only game who wants to save all the other girls, her princesses.
It's got its fair share of cute girls in any case...
Characters
- Himoto Sora
- The "protagonist" of the series. She has a great sense of justice, and strives to overrun the sexism going on in the school. She has been given the controlling glove - usually only given to males - so she can "own" the other girls and use their weapons. However, she tends to point out a lot that she isn't just "using" the girls, rather she wants to work together with them.
- Aoi Tsuki
- A mysterious girl who somehow appears exempt from Exaclan, until you find out that
she's a trapshe's actually owned by the guy running the entire thing who actually wants it gone too (then why did he set it up?). As such, she knows a lot about the system and helps Sora where she can.
- Izaki Koharu
- A large-breasted girl who is in love with Sora and was the first to be "saved" from male ownership. Her weapon is a long, double-barrel rifle.
- Yagizawa Yuki
- The second girl to be saved, and the second to fall for Sora, though she keeps this in check a bit better than

Her weapon is a spear, leading her to be nicknamed spear loli. Her other distinctive feature is the mini twintails, resembling kemonomimi, giving her another nickname of hair-ear loli.
