The Moon Zone is the retarded secret zone of Sonic Advance. As per the unimaginative name's suggestion, the zone takes place on the moon. It is unlocked by finishing the X-Zone as Sonic the Hedgehog with all 7 Chaos Emeralds. Here, only Super Sonic fights yet another giant Egg bot. The robot pretty much throws moon dust into Sonic's eyes to distract him long enough to use his laser. In the end, after one of the most retarded battles in Sonic history, the piece of shit is sent into the scrap heap, and Sonic disappears for a day. This shows you the good ending, where Sonic WTF decides to fall onto Tails without warning and activates a happy end.
Theme
Irregardless of being the shittiest level in Sonic Advance, it has one of the games most epic music tracks. However that being said, it's definitely not as epic as the Cosmic Angel Boss theme or as good as the Mecha Knuckles boss theme. Nonetheless, it's still a good song.
Trivia
- The American Strategy guide for the game calls the boss the "Super Egg Machine"(SEM).
- The name sounds so retarded, so Chao thinks it's a good name to differentiate it from it's other Egg bot cousins.
- The Zone is also responsible for ruining the Speed run of the game on Speed Demos Archive.
- Chao has remixed the Moon Zone Song 4 times, and he's still not satisfied with the end result.
