Wriggle Nightbug is a ~~male~~ female bug youkai (Firefly, to be specific) from Touhou who first appeared in Imperishable Night. There, he she (Seriously. "He's" a SHE, for Pete's sake!) attacks the h e r o i n e s because they seemed like easy target practices for her power, but being a Stage 1 boss, she was easily defeated. Since she is a bug youkai, she hates pesticides and the cold. She also takes bug insults personally. Just in case you were wondering, her power is the manipulation of bugs, which is really useful for firefly watching. Seems harmless? Try considering how many insects there are with poison deadly to humans! Too bad she's just a Stage 1 boss.

Because she's wearing pants instead of the usual dresses, she's often thought of as a boy. Kinda like that guy, except it's the opposite. Anyway, when it was revealed that she was a girl, she's usually ridiculed for being a crossdresser; girl who dresses like a boy or even vice versa. Yeah, there are also more Touhou chi cks that wear pants too, but the hair and name are a dead give away. Oh! And if you try auto-collecting by focusing (Hey, with Marisa, focusing isn't even necessary!) at the "right" location at the "right" time, she'll Wriggle Kick you in the face!
