Protector Corp. is presumably a huge company owned by Watty's unnamed father. As it's name implies, they specialize in building and selling Protectors and their parts, and they usually have the "latest" in Protector technology. Watty represents the company in the Protector Battle Tournament, and presumably angers his dad when he loses to Daichi in the final round. Later on in the game, you can purchase parts from the company through Watty by visiting his mansion.
