A meteor is basically a giant rock in space that happens to get too close to a planet and get sucked in by gravity, causing it to crash land on the surface and do various things, including aid adding thick layers of debris to the atmosphere and killing off all forms of Jurassic life. One particular meteor was the start of a plot arc in Compile Worlds, where it devastated the ADMA Headquarters and knocked a stray Cirno off course. While it was confirmed that Satan and Lord Marcus conspired to have this meteor strike the building, nobody knows to this day who or what teleported and chronoported the people inside and saved them from the resulting destruction.
