Earthbound (MOTHER 2 in Japan) is an RPG brought to you by Shigesato Itoi and his henchmen. Unlike other JPRGs 2/2Final Fantasy Dragon Quest of its time that features Europe forever ago, which means swords and goblins, it features retro America, which means baseball bats and stray dogs. And that's just one reason why it's awesome. So, go get a copy and learn its sheer awesomeness.

Anyway, the story mostly takes place in ~~America~~ Eagleland and is about an ordinary little boy with psychic powers and his new friends 3/3Paula Jones Jeff Andonuts Poo going to save the world because of a certain incident. They travel around the world gathering some music for the Sound Stone for a purpose. Obviously, many things stand in their way to victory, including, but not limited to, aliens, hippies, crows, spilled coffee, exploding trees and stop signs.
