Chian (EntityTopic, 7)

Chian is an NPC that appeared in the first Neptunia game. Somehow, she owns and runs both a factory and a restaurant, and early on she is in competition with Avenir; by the end of the game however she joins forces with Avenir once it ceases to be corrupt.
Amusingly, in Episode 62, Keiji could not remember what her gender was, since he had not seen the source material for a while, and Chian's voice sounds very much like a young male rather than a female. Upon consulting official sources however, he settled for "tomboy".
Because there are many plot holes that arise when considering the canon of the first and second games in tandem, Chian's relationship with the sisters is a bit odd. For the purposes of CHW, it has been decided that Chian knew about all the younger sisters and could recognise their HDD forms, but not their normal forms. However, this is likely to become immaterial very soon, as she has already met Uni and Nepgear, and shown that she is quite the fan of the former. Uni responded to Chian's compliments by lending her her Long-Range Rifle for their battle at the Planeptune Basilicom, which Chian then showed great skill in using.
