Alice Margatroid is a well-known character from the Touhou series. Other than the obvious Reimu and Marisa, and the not-so-obvious Yuuka, she's the only character to appear as a boss both before and after the series reboot between the fifth and sixth games. Alice fights using her dolls, such as Shanghai, and if you think that's lame... well, the last thing you will ever see as a living person is an explosion.
She's quite unique in personality, possessing a pure heart (No, not one of those MacGuffins from Super Paper Mario, silly) and having some connection with the Large Hadron Collider, all the while hiding this with a cold-hearted loner exterior. And nobody will ever know whether she really does like Marisa that way.
"Alice" has become quite a meme on 4chan and possibly other sites, where someone would roleplay her being all adorable and comforting to the many members of Anonymous as they report in with their neverending supply of problems. One of the more recent Alice players also set up and pays for a public Minecraft server, although she never seems to be present on it... what selflessness we should be grateful for. It's also been said that she has a penchant for mayhem...
