The Magician is one of the key characters of the Magical Drop games. He's not quite exactly what it says on the tin, since he also spends alot of his time being quite a ladies man, comparable to Incubus or Satan of Puyo Puyo infamy. He swoons on most of the ladies in the game, but takes a certain arrogance in facing them, declaring that he will defeat them at Magical Drop regardless of them winning any beauty contests in his mind. His magical power is rather dubious; only a skilled player who can make many chains will see him show his true power.
Theme Music
Like many of the characters who were in the first game, the Magician's theme, "Lonely Battle", plays for all of his appearances barring the ones in Magical Drop I and Magical Drop F. It doesn't exactly reek of loneliness, but it has a certain funky melancholy to it.
