Sonic Team is a division of SEGA responsible for the Sonic the Hedgehog and Puyo Puyo Fever series. Although the Genesis games, especially Sonic 3 & Knuckles, were a great success, they're rather notorious for completely ruining everything later on. Thankfully, Dimps was handed the job of developing the Advance and Rush series so they actually turned out rather well. But the same can't be said for the 3D games...
