Tyrian is one of two different colors; either a shade of reddish purple, or a shade of purplish red. In either case, it is a color representing royalty and high noble status, even though the first Tyrian colored dyes were made from pressed snail guts. It is also the color a certain scientific Pokémon fan game uses as its title. As a shade of red, is worn by many evil red clones, the most notable being Doppelganger Arle and Strange Klug.
