It may die a horrible, painful death... or it might just disappear into thin air. Or, if it was marked inappropriately, it might just get to stay.Toad is a totally awesome Mario character. He is married to/a brother of Toadette, and is often the one to take charge of the Mario gang, despite the fact that Mario himself is supposed to be the leader. Toad and Toadette are inseparable and have the most stable relationship in the entire series, sans Wario and Waluigi's. Toad makes up half of the FBI and constantly is chasing around Petey Piranah and King Boo for their constant felonies. His comments are usually somewhat mean, but he always seems to have good intentions, no matter how deeply buried. Often, even though he is mean sometimes, people mostly agree with him, and Toad is the one to often start rebelions or riots.
Personality
Toad is perpetually drunk, and maintains this drunkness by constantly drinking booze. Most of the time, he blames irregular behavior or thoughts on being sober. He is also rather curious and explorative, constantly seeking to explore his surroundings during missions. He also spends a lot of time studying his findings on the field. Toad is also one of the most clever characters in the Mario gang, just behind Toadsworth, and right alongside his wife. If Toad doesn't know something, he blames it on being drunk. Amazingly, Toad has mastered the task of driving completely normally while intoxicated. He has yet to be arrested for drunk driving, but he is the FBI.

Toad has one of the most major roles in the series. He serves as a de facto Mario gang leader, and often takes action with Toadette when Mario or Luigi wont. He always takes part in the gangs constant battles against Bowser and his army. Toad also is one of the regular Mario Kart GP racers. He shows up all the time, weather he actually is racing or not. Despite being brutally honest and stubborn sometimes, he is actually an idol among some people. He and Toadette often incorporate their interests and experiments into their plan of action.
In Toad and Toadette's Wacky experiment, Toad made a machine that would switch the minds of the Adult Mario Bros. with those of the Baby Mario Bros., causing absolute mayhem. Toad and Toadette forgot to turn the bros. back though, probably because they won an awesomesauce trophy. In addition to his regular role, Toad is also sometimes depicted as a crack dealer, selling cocaine and gaining more sellers under his wing. He once tricked Yoshi into becoming a crack dealer, leading to Yoshi's arrest. Toad is less often in minor roles, and even less often is he completely absent from an episode of the show.
