Wriggle Nightbug is a male female firefly youkai from the Touhou series who first appeared in Imperishable Night. There, she attacks the heroines because they seemed like easy target practices for her power, but being a Stage 1 boss, she was easily defeated. Since she is a bug youkai, she hates pesticides and the cold. She also takes bug insults personally. Just in case you were wondering, her power is the manipulation of bugs, which is really useful for firefly watching. Seems harmless? Try considering how many insects there are with poison deadly to humans! Too bad she's just a Stage 1 boss. She'd make a great playable character in Hisoutensoku, too!
Because she's wearing pants instead of the usual dresses, she's often thought of as a boy. Kinda like that guy, except it's the opposite. Anyway, when it was revealed that she was a girl, she started to be ridiculed for being a crossdresser! Yeah, there are also more Touhou chicks that wear pants too, but the hair and name are a dead give away. Oh! And if you try auto-collecting by focusing (Hey, with Marisa, focusing isn't even necessary!) at the "right" location at the "right" time, she'll Wriggle Kick you in the face!
