Puyo Puyo Fever Redux (or PPFR for the lazy) was a pet project/puyo mod done by those at Puyo Nexus.

It was originally an excuse to make mods of favourite and original characters for Puyo Puyo Fever but Keiji soon took over, deciding it must have a story, leading to the plan slowly becoming a monster of epic proportions combining Puyo qualities, non-Puyo characters and original characters.

Once the scripts were written and the voices were recorded, though, he kinda lost interest and never bothered doing the hacking necessary to get everything in the game. This was around the time he just plain left the Puyo scene anyway.

Apparently, the project was revived by some other sceners, and then dropped for good. Keiji only heard of this after the fact, though, thanks to Akkie's messengering.
