Flandre Scarlet is a vampire in the Touhou series, first appearing in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil as the extra boss. Because of her immense destructive power, she had to be locked up in the basement of Scarlet Devil Mansion by her sister. Despite this, she seems to act like a normal happy kid... most of the time. And she still loves her sister. Due to how she is almost never allowed out of the aforementioned basement, Flandre has very little knowledge of the outside world and has been known to confuse snow with danmaku, just because it's made of water.
Flandre's theme, U.N. Owen Was Her?, is one of the most popular songs around, somehow beating even Sakuya's theme. That's because every Touhou newfag has seen McRoll at least once.
