Flandre Scarlet is a vampire in the Touhou series, first appearing in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil as the extra boss. Because of her immense destructive power and mentality problems, she had to be locked up in the basement of Scarlet Devil Mansion by her sister, even though letting her out for some sanity-giving oxygen is much better. Well, then again, they were born centuries ago, when European aristocrats love doing that.
