RDM is FFXI speak for Red Mage.

There are many mages in the world but none are as epic as the red mage. It's a mage with a friken sword and pimp hat!! The only mage that comes close enough to being as cool as the red mage is WHM who have epic healing magic and a friken hammer!!

Red Mages can cast pretty much any spell known to man and can totally convert all their HP and turn it into MP thus making them unstopable! However, even if they run out of MP they can like use a sword till their MP is all refreshed. In battle an RDM can seriously mess you up. It has powers to make you weak as a kitten and slowly eat your life away before it goes stabby stabby with their magically enchanted sword or boomy boomy with it's magical nukes. Don't think of fighting back either cause red mages can cast stoneskin and phalanx making your attacks feel like a tickle and heal back any HP you take away! HAH!

RDM is currently at war with the BRD because they steal their spots in parties with their similar refreshing abilities and annoying flute music.

The only thing that can defeat an RDM is Maat, cause he's a dirty cheating bastard.
