MarvelousAQL is one of Neptunia's many referential sidekick characters. She is a reference to Senran Kagura, a game about busty ninjas beating up other ninjas, explaining her ludicrous breast size and ninja traits. She has outfits available in the in-game shop resembling some of the characters from said game. She did not appear in the original 2010 game, and was a DLC character in her debut game, but comes as a built-in character in Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth1 and has many appearances in the story. She is the second referential character to become playable, joining in Chapter 6 as part of an acknowledgedly clichéd rescue scene during the showdown with Avenir.
In Chapter 7, she and MAGES. temporarily leave your party to defend Planeptune from hundreds of Fake Purple Heart clones while you go off to fulfill each Land's quest.
Etymology
MarvelousAQL is named after the company with the same name, though it is not yet known what connection said company has with Neptunia.
