The moon is a natural satellite of the Earth. It crops up in various series in one way or another.

Over the years, there's been division over the nature of the moon. Years ago, it was unknown whether it was made of cheese, seas or not. Today, it's unknown whether there was a history of water or not.

Appearances

• In Touhou, Reisen and Eirin came from the moon, and they are unsurprisingly called lunarians.
• In Sonic Adventure 2, Eggman fires the Eclipse Cannon at the moon, destroying about a third of its total volume as a demonstration of his power.
