It is a projectile-slash-beam based weapon that converts data from optical discs into magical energy. Pretty cool, right? It's also worth mentioning that the element of the beam or projectiles can be changed depending on the data on the CD. Given the abundance of CD-stored media and data, this is a very versatile weapon to have on hand, wouldn't you think?
