According to Nintendo (and therefore definitely), touching is good. Other than that, nobody really knows what touching is all about, but Nintendo says it's good, so it must be good.

On the other hand, if someone tries to touch you in a place or in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable, that's no good! Also, it's gay if balls are touching, except for dragonballs.
