Secure Boot (ConceptTopic, 5)

From Compile Worlds

Secure Boot is a feature of UEFI 2 that requires bootloaders to be signed with public-key cryptography.

This in itself is a nice thing to have to protect computers from being meddled with. However, Microsoft has decided to abuse this feature to lock out other operating systems from Windows 8 certified motherboards and PCs. This won't do at all!
